Base Layout

The following photos will give you an idea of how I build my bases.  I always have three bases minimum set up, two for the regular day-to-day game play, and an optimized war base:

1) Buildview: This allows me to easily see what needs upgrading by having grouped all of the items that are the same in one area.  Just remember not to leave your base in this mode, you will be an easy target!

2) Home Base: My regular base is a farm base, it can be easily changed to be defensive by moving the townhall inside the base.  Depending on the trophy level, I find that I get fewer larger attacks and lose far less resources in this manner.  I also get a few trophies back on a regular basis revenging those that are greedy and destroy more than my town-hall.

3) WAR BASE: The war base is the most important of all bases for clan wars.  If you have a farm style base during a war, the opponent is always guaranteed at lease one star.  Our goal is to make it as hard as possible for the other clan when attacking our bases.  Notice that I have placed my resources on the outside, they have the highest hit points and help slow down the enemy.  This gives the weapons behind the resources a chance to do some damage to the attacking forces before they themselves are attacked.
